![]() Worship was not something humans invented. It was taking place in the heavens before we were even on the scene. When we were created we were created for God’s glory, so it only seems fitting that we would try to do everything in our power to express our love and gratitude for our savior. In the grand scheme of things there isn’t much we can do to return the gift we have been given in Christ but, one of the ways we can honor God is through our worship of him. Paul urges us in Romans 12:1 “to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.” Most of us walk through the doors of the church with preconceived notions and personal tastes but as we let those things go and just offer all that we are to God we have begun worshiping him. As far as worship through music goes, we are always looking for new directions, methods, instruments, songs etc. to add to our current mix and stir things up a bit. From time to time we will post a list of current things we are looking to add. If there are any listings below then that is what we are currently after…if there is nothing below, check back at a later time to see if we are looking to add something new. We like to incorporate drama into our Sunday morning worship as a way to engage the congregation and get them thinking about the morning message. Typically MVCC will have a Sunday drama once every 2 months. We are always looking for actors, so if you would be interested in sharing your gift of acting with us please e-mail our drama coordinator Dan Hochhalter at
