Through our Backpack Buddies program, MVCC serves families at Tumwata Middle School by providing food for students who might not have enough to eat on the weekends. Each week we pack up to a dozen backpacks with food provided by MVCC families. This is an incredible opportunity we have to care for our
neighbors in a tangible and impactful way.
We are currently taking both monetary and food donations to help support this ministry.

WHAT CAN I DONATE?
- Boxes of Mac n Cheese
- Soups
- Pasta (like ravioli, SpaghettiOs, etc.)
- Chili
- Stew
- Tuna
- Nut Butters
- Applesauce
- Fruit Cups
- Jello w/ Fruit Cups
- Oatmeal Packets
- Caprisun Juice Pouches
- Snacks (chips, cookies, crackers, granola bars, fruit snacks, etc.)
Donations can be dropped off at the Church Office.
HELP US RESTOCK!
In order to ensure that the backpacks are full and there is enough to go around, we keep a reserve of funds on hand. As this is an ongoing ministry, we are always in need of funds to "restock the pantry".
If you would like to give financially, you are welcome to donate by dropping your donation in the offering box, labeled "Backpack Buddies", on Sunday or you can give online using our secure giving page below.
